What is the difference between SLR and Canon PowerShot digital camera?
Are you talking about a SLR or DSLR? Let me guess meant. DSLR sensors are of different sizes ... DSLR sensor has more than 15 times larger. SLR lenses are interchangeable. What once you buy in the PowerShot P & S camera that will have to live up to buy a new one or upgrade to a DSLR shutter lag in SLR Digital is measured in milliseconds, not seconds as P & S cameras. DSLR's are fully adjustable camera while having the automatic features if desired, its shutter speeds and f / stops can be controlled individually. P & S DSLR cameras are almost completely automatic based on the standard of 35 mm cameras and SLR share many of the same controls and featuers ... P & S cameras are much smaller than usually (except SLR-like cameras) and can be carried in a pocket or purse. DSLR can cost up to $ 8,000 for a single camera body. P & S cameras generally cost less than $ 300, except for the few that can cost up to $ 500.
